River City Nature Park

 

River City Nature Park is a 100 acre property located on the beautiful St Johns River.

 

The course is 18 holes that is both beginner friendly while offering a nice challenge to experienced players. There is a set of red teepads and a set of white teepads. The course uses Innova DisCatcher baskets.

 

The course has 64 pin locations and can play at a footage range of 4,230'-7,150'.

 

Course designed by World Champion Disc Golf Design.

 

 

 

I-4; exit 104. North on Hwy 17-92 over St. John's river. Power station on left. 1st left on Barwick Rd., 0.5 mile to sharp right turn. 200' to left into park. Follow shell road.

RCNP course history

11-28-07: Phase one of the River City Disc Golf Course was flagged by World Champion Disc Golf Design.

 

01-18-08: Tees installed by Jack White, J.T. Rosenthal and Gregg Hosfeld.

 

01-20-08: Baskets assembled and installed by Hos, Dex, TJ & Korn.

 

01-28-08: Bridges were built by Jamie Ruane, Norbert Kutyn & Gregg Hosfeld. Also signposts and official measuring of the fairways.

 

09-26-10 RCNP's 1st official disc golf event: Tour Del Sol. And 1st official test run of the phase 2 "next 9".

 

06-04-11 RCNP's 2nd event and 1st official sanctioned event: TDS #6

 

07-10-12 30 pin positions installed for original 9

 

10-var-12: 9 more baskets installed

 

01-20-13 RCNP's 5th birthday

 

4/10 + 4/11/13: Poured 17 tee pads to finish the course
